Editor-In-Chief: Shalin Mehta
My name is Shalin Mehta, and I am a senior at Duncan College majoring in Political Science and minoring in Politics, Law and Social Thought. I am primarily interested in security studies and foreign policy with regional focuses on the Middle East and West Africa. This year as Editor-in-Chief of the Rice Journal of Public Policy, I hope to expand RJPP’s engagement with the student body and to continue the publication of high quality policy analyses of both domestic and foreign issues. My name is Will Cover, and I am a senior majoring in Political Science and Social Policy Analysis, with minors in History and Politics, Law, and Social Thought. This is my fourth year with the Rice University Journal of Public Policy. I am also involved with Mock Trial, the Center for Academic and Professional Communication, and the Peer Academic Advisors. In my free time, I enjoy baking, playing chess, and watching movies in theaters.

My name is Miriam, and I am a sophomore from Brown majoring in Mathematical Economic Analysis and Social Policy Analysis. This is my second year with the Rice University Journal of Public Policy. My policy interests include climate policy and housing equity. In my spare time I enjoy working with the Center for Civic Leadership, rowing with the Rice crew team, and cooking. Hey y’all! My name is Vincent Behnke and I’m a junior at Will Rice studying political science and statistics. My primary areas of interest lie in redistricting and elections law, along with a smattering if energy policy and comparative politics. Beyond RJPP, I am involved with the CAPC, Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and PAIR. I love hiking, exploring Houston’s restaurants, and watching basketball.
